hello everyone welcome back to my channel!so today i am going to be giving you all my secrets to how to get cheap or free books.i get a lot of questions about how i'm able to buy so many books. and for me it's reallyabout scouting them out and finding them at really good prices. it's super simple i gota lot of tip s so let's just get right into it. my number one tip has got to be: buy themused. now for me, i really don't care if books are used. it's really more about me readingthe book than it is about me owning the book. so i bought this copy of outlander on amazonfor $5, because it was used. it's still in great condition, there's no writing in it,there's no tears. so for me i really go on amazon i look in the used section, if it'sgood condition then that means there's no
rips there's nothing in it and i just purchaseit. i got this $20 book for $5 and for me that's what it's really all about is gettingthe cheaper book and just having to buy it. i didn't really care that i didn't buy itin a bookstore or that it's new, for me again it's really just about the act of readingit. another way is picking where you buy your books. target has all of their books 20% offall the time. so that's a really great way to find cheaper books than buying it regularprice somewhere else. or online. amazon constantly has everything way cheaper. not even usedbooks. let's say you don't want a used book, if you don't amazon still sells everythingmuch much much much much cheaper than everybody else. i'll find a $20 book in the bookstoreand it'll end up being $10 on amazon. so always
check amazon before you purchase anything,because a lot of times they have everything way cheaper. my second tip is netgalley. soif you've never heard of netgalley, it is an online resource that publishers use togive out free arcs or free copies of ebooks in exchange for an honest review. so if you'resomebody who reviews a lot of things on goodreads or on amazon or on any book-related website,check out netgalley. so netgalley is a great resource for you if you like to review books.and then the final way is running a book blog. so this shouldn't be your main reason to runa book blog, to get free books, but it is one of the perks. so i've had a few authorsreach out to me and offer me their books some of them i've taken, some of them i've not.sometimes you can get arc's. it's really a
great way by saying that you'll put it ina video or by doing a review on it. that way you can get the book out to a wider audience,but also you get the free copy of the book which is awesome. again that really shouldn'tbe your motivation, but if you do happen to run a book blog or a book youtube channelyou can get those kinds of resources. so those are a few quick easy ways to get some freeand cheap books. i hope you guys enjoyed this video, i hope it helped you a little bit,if it did give it that big thumbs up and i will see you back here later!
